 | 6/21/2010 Over the past two months more than 270 4-H members and their friends, ages 10-12, have had the opportunity to take a “Walk on the Wild Side” during one of six regionally delivered 4-H Ontario Discovery Days. Sponsorship support from the OCA in the amount of $20,000/year for five years will continue to allow members and their friends to explore what 4-H is all about. Here, Andrew Moore, Marketing and Events Coordinator, 4-H Ontario (left) accepts the $100,000 cheque from Dan Darling, OCA Vice-President, and OCA President Curtis Royal (right). |
 | 6/4/2010 OCA held its 7th annual, very successful Beef Barbecue at Queen’s Park. The OCA staff and Board held meetings with various MPPs during the morning. In addition to scheduled meetings, with MPPs it is estimated that just shy of 600 people attended the barbecue. Members of the Queen’s Park Press Gallery also attended.
