LOCAL BREEDER CO-OP 

A local Breeder Finance Co-op must be established under the Ontario Cooperative Corporations Act. Eligible members are individuals at least 18 years of age who are landowners, rent land, or are voting shareholders in corporations who own land. Members pay an annual membership fee of at least $25. An individual may NOT belong to more than one Breeder Co-op.

The Breeder Co-op shall have a Board of Directors of not less than 5 and not more than 10 members; this Board is responsible for:

a) approving memberships annually

b) approving purchase order applications

c) establishing credit arrangements with an approved lender

d) employing a Supervisor and a Administrator

e) submitting monthly and annual reports to the Program Supervisor and Board of Directors.
