The
Ontario Cattlemen’s Association participated in a meeting facilitated by
the OFA and including representation from the deadstock collectors,
Dairy farmers of Ontario, Egg Farmers of Ontario, Ontario Cattle Feeders
Association, and OMAFRA. The result of this meeting was a letter to
Minister Dombrowsky urging her to provide another six months of
transitional funding for the collectors while sustainable options are
developed. |
